About Our Faculty

Vision of the Faculty

The Faculty of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Informatics aims to be recognized both regionally and globally as an institution of excellence and leadership in AI and Informatics education, research and community engagement. Unlike traditional science faculties that focus solely on mathematics, physics and natural sciences, this faculty also aims to train a new generation of dynamic, innovative and visionary professionals equipped with comprehensive scientific and practical knowledge. Graduates will be prepared to lead cutting-edge smart projects in informatics and data science, addressing the changing demands of the global labor market within the framework of ethical values.

With its inherent connection with technology, the establishment of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence and Informatics at our university will create a unique environment conducive to interdisciplinary coordination, advanced research and innovation. The faculty is designed to train professionals who will not only contribute to scientific projects, but also lead and shape them with a forward-looking vision.

Current Landscape and Global Trends

Many departments and programs within the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence and Informatics are currently offered at many universities only within engineering faculties, often with limited scope and diversity. Both nationally and internationally, the number of faculties dedicated to Artificial Intelligence and Informatics is very small. Most of the existing programs focus on traditional engineering disciplines based on mathematics, physics and natural sciences.

Establishing a dedicated Faculty of Artificial Intelligence and Informatics at our university will set us apart from other institutions by offering a more comprehensive and innovative approach to the rapidly developing fields of Artificial Intelligence, Informatics and Data Science. This will make our faculty a leader in these fields, helping to shape future technologies and address key global challenges.
